Semac Construction, a division of the Semac Group, is seeking a site-based Electrical Engineer to join our project team at Skouries, Chalkidiki in a full-time, permanent role.

This is a hands-on engineering position in a large-scale industrial construction environment, ideal for candidates with field experience in electrical installation, power distribution, and industrial systems.

🔌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical works on-site, with a focus on installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, and instrumentation cabling).

• Work closely with foremen, subcontractors, and the project management team to ensure work progress according to plan and quality standards.

• Monitor construction activities and verify compliance with electrical drawings, specifications, and health & safety regulations.

• Support the QA/QC process through inspections, test witnessing, and preparation of as-built documentation.

• Participate in the planning and execution of electrical works, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.

• Collaborate with the procurement team for timely material deliveries and technical clarifications with suppliers.

• Report daily/weekly site progress and contribute to the preparation of technical and site reports.

📘 Qualifications & Requirements

• Greek citizenship or legal right to work in Greece.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Professional experience:
  Junior level: 1–3 years
  Medior level: Over 3 years

• Previous experience on industrial, energy, or mining projects will be considered a strong asset.

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems in construction projects is essential.

• Excellent problem-solving and on-site coordination skills.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic familiarity with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).

• Availability to work on-site daily in Skouries, Chalkidiki.

• Valid driver’s license and private vehicle (preferred for access to site).
