Semac Construction, a division of the Semac Group, is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our on-site team at the Skouries Project in Chalkidiki, in a full-time, permanent role.

The selected candidate will play a central role in ensuring quality control and compliance during the execution of one of the most complex industrial construction projects in Greece.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage QA/QC plans and inspection/test protocols for mechanical and structural works on-site.

• Conduct inspections and verification of piping, structural, and equipment installation activities.

• Monitor daily works to ensure compliance with design specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.

• Identify and report non-conformities; lead root cause analysis and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.

• Maintain and organize QA/QC documentation for internal audits and final handover dossiers.

• Coordinate with construction teams, client representatives, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.

• Support site teams during audits, witness testing, and project turnover processes.

• Promote quality awareness and compliance across all work fronts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Greek Citizenship or EU work eligibility.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.

• Experience levels:
  Medior: 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in construction
  Senior: 7+ years with site-based QA/QC leadership roles in industrial projects

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, construction standards, and QA/QC systems.

• Proven experience in industrial piping, mechanical erection, or MEP installation is essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with QA/QC software and reporting tools is a plus.

• Availability for daily on-site presence in Skouries, valid driver’s license preferred.
